Let's try again.

IMHO, if you are facing specific problems in your current release and
looking forward to solve them, you should check to see if this last
release address then, perhaps testing it with the Live CD. Otherwise
you should stand with what you have for a couple of 3 or 4 months.

As John D Lamb wrote above, "It depends what you’re looking for".
