"Audio device is unaccessible now" on Ubuntu 12.04

Hi

I saw this thread:

I understand that this issue was seen on browsers using 64-bit of 
firefox but i am using 32-bit version of firefox. But still i am getting 
the error on the webex saying that the "Audio device is unaccessible now"

I installed the following:

Oracle JRE 7
Plugin for firefox browsers , filename is libnpjp2.so

The ubuntu installation is installed on an i386 laptop , so it is indeed 
32-bit installation. But still Webex says "Audio device is unaccessible"

Some one could please help me in this regard. I am loosing out on some 
very important meetings with my team.
