I see that my printer is at:

 Samsung
Laser ML-2510
Not sure maybe ML-2150
v6.06 (Dapper)
	

You can download the ML-2510 driver from the Samsung website, it is a 
universal installer. in a terminal :- tar xzf 
yourVersion_UnifiedLinuxDriver.tar.gz ,cd cdboot , sudo su , ./autorun 
Prints both text and pictures.

but was just wondering whether there's any new information or personal 
experience.  I'm using Ubuntu-server 12.10.
