Graphics 'puzzle'

Hello :)
I am running Ubuntu 12.10 with an NVidia based graphics card.
The system is using the NVidia drivers.

What puzzles me is the fact that when I open the "About This Computer"
window it tell me that the graphics is 'Unknown'....

Things like this always worry me so I wonder what causes this...
