Fair enough. I am not so morally pure myself ;¬) but actually,
avoiding the need or even the temptation to run knockoffs is one of
the reasons why I prefer to run FOSS OSs - and FOSS apps on Windows.

Mount the CD. Open a terminal and go to the mounted volume. At the prompt, type
wine setup.exe
Bosh.
You don't need to be root - by default it installs in your home directory.
