Which is obviously 2 or so years newer than what I got following the link
suggested yesterday. Call me puzzled to say the least. Perhaps I need to
adjust the exec line for that in the properties of the menu because I'm
running an older version that may be co-installed? The one in my launching
menu now is:
/usr/bin/googleearth
Without the f% argument that was there originally. It will not run beyond
the hint screen closing if it is there.

If someone could compare that line, with theirs on 10-04 LTS system?

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene
