How to add xfce?

The only one they test much on as far as upgrading the distro version is the 
Gnome  based one.  As I use only the LTS versions it allows usually a trouble 
free upgrade.  This year may be different because of the bug filled hard to use 
Unity but still the chances are better that the upgrade will be tested better 
in other desktops as well!
