Hi

My MB is ASRock H61M/U3S3. Sorry for this noob question. How do I
check if I am using GRUB or UEFI on Ubuntu? I installed it using all
the default settings.

There is no boot menu or I cannot detect any as all it takes is a
second to get to the login screen (using a SSD).

Another question is Ubuntu 11.10/12.04B1 cannot detect my monitor
(model, max screen resolution, etc..) whenever I connect the SATA2 SSD
to a SATA2 port, though the system works fine. However, if I connect
the SSD to the SATA3 port, Ubuntu would be able to detect my monitor.

This problem does not exist on Microsoft Windows.
