Me neither until a couple of weeks ago.
I think the Maté Gnome 2 fork team, which has grown by quite a few
people to where it's got plenty of skilled manpower to work on it, is
looking to get a proper release with stable 12.04. Which may mean it
won't be close to something recent like lubuntu (mubuntu? gnubuntu?)
until 12.10. But it's definitely got legs right now.
