Not knowing my situation you have no right to say that.

So why is there no man page for cd?
What does the "~$" mean in the prompt?
I had typed "cd Downloads" among other guesses - for some reason
adding "/" to the end is the answer, the one I didn't guess.
In the Windows shell this would not work so it is a difference
from Windows. Is there any website that would describe
differences like this that I could look up rather than guess
or bother people with elementary questions?
