Welcome to the fray...
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=736811>
[Mouse occasionally changes to drag cursor and the mouse buttons stop
functioning]
I just tested with 14.0b3:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120619 Thunderbird/14.0
<https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all-beta.html>
and 'workaround' patch works like it does in SeaMonkey 2.11.2b2. You
will still get the D&D cursor when selecting a Subject. However when you
click the message Subject again the cursor will revert to normal & you
shouldn't have any further problems with it during your session.
