Hi Robert,
Could you possibly attach an image in another email? I have never heard
of or seen this error before. It seems quite odd, since you are asked to
create the username/password before installing. Whenever Wubi opens up,
if you do not have another installation, you will be asked to choose
between Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, or Mythbuntu. After
selecting, you are asked to provide a username and password, these are
not your Launchpad login. This should be something you create while in
this window, which has nothing to do with your Launchpad account. After
choosing those, you are asked to provide how much disk space you want to
provide for Ubuntu. Then, (I hope I have not forgotten anything), after
clicking the "Install" button, or something similar, Wubi should
download and install *buntu (whichever flavour you have chosen). I hope
this helps!
