Grub not installing when Xubuntu installs

I know, which is why, before we started down that route, I would try
to find out exactly what happened.

If there are 2 HDs and GRUB is on disk 2 along with all the rest of
Linux, then changing the BIOS is by /far/ the easiest way to switch
between them, I reckon.
