I had no idea what it was either, but now I understand it as something 
to do with the cloud... I am slow sometimes :) I do not know what could 
be causing you to only have access the the command line. Is there a boot 
or disk error? If so, you might need to run a command in the terminal to 
help you out, and get the graphical environment back. Hope this helps.
