Sorry I didn't explain properly. Acquia Drupal - when installed on 
Windows includes a control panel with a few nifty features such as 
importing additional Drupal sites, creating blank ones, setting up 
subdomains, and phpmyadmin.

I understand all these features can be gotten by installing and/or 
configuring them in other ways. It's the convenience of that control 
panel I was looking for. I'm fine with the mysql command line 
otherwise, for most things it's prolly better anyway; or I could 
always install phpmyadmin myself from the Ubuntu software install 
center. Which is extremely cool btw, from my little experience with it so far.
