network printing with Samba broken for months, no action taken, this is ridiculous

I'm very disappointed by reading that. Print server is a typical small
business application. I can't believe that Samba and Ubuntu (LTS!) have
released a faulty code in a such important application. What a nasty
surprise!  :-(
