basic ubuntu question

is it that, only difference between a server and client is that, server has no GUI ???
i also found on web:

$ lsb_release -d -s -c
Ubuntu 10.10
maverick

Propably you can try

$ uname -a && cat /etc/lsb-release

in your terminal.
