Wonderful idea! Namaskar! I was in the thick of it and didn't think to
do that.
But, it just made the same whines and blooping noises it made before.
Ergo, scratch one onboard audio setup. At least the USB functions well,
mouse and headset works just peachy. What I should do is send the MB
back to ASUS, under warranty and let them check out ALL of the back
panel plugins. Maybe some day I'll get fancier stuff and need them all
working. (more toys!) Thanks again. Ric
