Does -O mean rename in wget?

Dear all,

I was hesitant to try it as

1. It's a BIG file and I would waste a lot of time before I know if it is
messed up.
2. The man page alludes to it NOT being the perfect rename.

but I am trying it. Lets see where it takes me.
