Firefox and NoScript??

Found it.  The NoScript icon shows up in the "add-on bar", and that was
turned off.  The option in the NoScript settings relates to the "status
bar".  I'm guessing they're the same thing, or the nomenclature is broken,
or some such.  Anyway, I couldn't find a control for the "status bar", so I
was stymied for a while.  Finally I just tried things at random and got it.
