I think it was 2 years ago that k3b did have a problem with burning DVDs 
(it would burn OK a single layer -R DVD but would not burn a dual-layer 
-R or something like this - I don't remember [even though it affected me 
and I drew attention to this problem]) so if you are still using such an 
old version of k3b it would be wise to get the latest version which 
works flawlessly.
