I don't think list scales to all users.  It perhaps doesn't even scale
to just those who are "gearheads", or just those who speak English.

Neither this thread, nor my reply to it are going to be helping
people directly, which is probably a good indication of the
current usefulness of this list.

Loco-group lists spread support from a Cathedral (this list) to many
localised Bazaars.
