I'm sorry that you feel insulted by human nature.  It is my own fault
and failing to have couched it in terms that insult you and for that I
am very sorry.

I hold no animosity toward you, Alan.  I think you do and have done the
best you can with what you have been given IRT this list, that list and
moderation.  A tough and thankless job, I'm not really surprised that
you are ready to give it up.

It should have come about that Mark supported your actions instead of
dismissing them out of hand.  For that, I find fault with his
high-handed and dismissive management style.

OTOH, many would have pressed harder.
