Asus built-in webcam showing upside-down (especially in skype)

According to that link it appears that it's a manufacturer issue...
maybe complain to Asus? Do you have Windows installed & if so does it
work in Windows? I note the: "In Windows the software detects the
problem and flips the image automatically.", but it's good if you can
confirm.

What webcam applications have you tried (cheese, etc)? In those can you
flip the image?
