HI,yeah ,I installed wubi in windows and rebooted the computer for opening the ubuntu .However,I uninstalled it and tried to install ubuntu through disk which wasn't successful neither since when installing it gets stuck and returns 'failure in authentication ' .I don't know how to resolve it.I like it when installing through windows snce it was easy but I didn't have wireless access.don't know what to do....

You didn't answer the question as to whether wifi is working in Windows.
If so, then we should be able to help you get it working in Ubuntu.
You'll need to provide details as to what wifi device you have. These
