network manager icon disappeared

Jack I ran sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome

I see no network icon still.

I ran ps aux|grep nm-applet
gary      4770  0.0  0.0   5660   804 pts/0    S+   22:14   0:00 grep
--color=auto nm-applet

Does not appear to be running still.
This is the previous one.
