I like PCLINUXOS KDE version (the original--now you can get other 
desktops).  I'm using it now, and have been for over a year.
I came from SuSE, and I have to say that I RAN from it, due to a couple 
of disasters.  Maybe it's better now.  I think the
Synaptic package manager is much easier to use than the SUSE one, BTW, 
and it would seem that a lot of people agree with
me, including makers of some other distros.
