Alternate installation CD

Hi to all.

I installed Ubuntu 11.10 x86 via the alternate installation CD, and I
think it has major issues.

For example, if you do not configure a network during installation, it
creates a domain (null) that causes problems afterwards.

Does anyone know whether it is going to be re-released?


Also I think it is the first time the installation DVD does not
provide a text installation option. Why is that?
