Yup - great software if you pay for it and pretty much equally as good if
you don't. I pay because I really like it, even though the bits that I pay
for have no impact on me at all - I only make any use of the free bits
anyway.

Even so, I don't really give a flying fuck whether my software is free,
proprietary, GPL'd, closed licensed, restricted license, home grown or any
other flavour you care to mention. I use the right tool for the job. Of
course your viewpoint may differ and you're welcome to have your opinion.

I develop closed license software using products like Informatica, Oracle
10g, PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server, Sybase, WinSCP, SSH, PuTTY, AIX, Windows,
Linux, C#, Python, Perl and a whole host of stuff I can't mention. If you
have a screw and someone makes a great screwdriver, you're misguided to use
a hammer if you want to stay in business.
