Ubuntu-11.10-64bit bug: terribly slow networking

Hello all,

I wish to let know my recent failure in upgrading to Ubuntu-11.10, so to help relevant bug-fix effort.

I have a ASUS latptop X52F Intel-core-i3 64bit with Windows-7 installed when bought.  Then I installed Ubuntu-11.04-64bit and made it dual-boot.  Everything worked fine till recently when upgrading-to-11.10 feature be available.  Last weekend I upgraded to 11.10 from 11.04.  However, in 11.10 the networking became unacceptably slow.  I checked to make sure that my home 54Mbps-up wireless environment is functional.  At last I had to re-install back to Ubuntu 11.04 in order to continue normal work.

Any Ubuntu-dev effort interested in the issue?  I would be happy to participate in further discussion and provide more information.  Thanks a lot!
