Reinstalled Ubuntu 10.10 it's a no go...

Ooops, sent too soon.

 

I was wondering what size hard drive it is, and whether the sata option
'AHCI' is set in the bios? It's likely that 10.10 supports AHCI, but you
could always set it for sata, or native IDE, or IDE or whatever the option
is called on yours. 

 

Did you say Disk Utility says the disk is healthy? And this is the only hard
drive in the system?
