I read it as more that you happened to unfortunately be the last one
in the thread he was replying to. I read it as a gentle prod to
everyone posting to the thread that it really needs to head back on
topic for the list or move to another list/medium (as is this email -
definitely not aimed at one individual).

The list in general seems to be up and down with regards to following
the list guidelines and over the last couple of days it's swayed more
towards OT than it should so as a group we need to guide it to more
productive conversation.
