Oh, I'm sure it does.
Me, I am experimenting with building a WindowMaker + GNUstep desktop,
because I like plainness and shades of grey. I find lots of colours
very visually distracting. I tend to actually tone down my themes -
for instance I've customised the Unity dock^H^H^H^H launcher to remove
the background colours from the icons, replacing it with partial
transparency.
P.S. Yes, XKCD fan. :¬D
