myfamily at myfamily-desktop:~$ cat /proc/cpuinfo

It gives:

model name    : Intel(R) Pentium(R)  CPU       E5200  @ 2.50GHz

E5200 is 64 bit processor!

I came to know that i686 (someone said also) is 32 bit only but E5200  (
http://ark.intel.com/products/37212?wapkw=e5200) can support 64 bit, so I
can use 64 bit (because of the later reason).... I guess it is like this...
