If it doesn't pass the bios check, it won't work as either a primary or
secondary drive, I would think. God only knows why they released hdparm
with that enabled. Maybe it's for a double-naught spy, for security
purposes, just like the cyanide pill is. Both the device or user winds
up dead, which is very damn secure. I guess if you wanted a little
keyboard macro, for when the Feds are busting your door in, that would
be the clear winner. It would be faster that trying to wipe the drive
clean. Hrmmmmm...

But the average Joe Lunchbucket user needs that as much as they need the
trigger mechanism for a thermonuclear device, or a mallet to smack it
with. So, maybe they need two packages, one for the average user "Hello,
my name is Peggy...", and the other for double-naught spies.
