I used to run one of those with SUSE and later Ubuntu 4.10. The same
drivers for the G450 and G550 work, as I recall.

This should be the link, but if not, navigate through the Matrox
homepage for G450 drivers then click on "legacy/older drivers" in the
link list down the left hand side.
