failed to preserve ownership...

Hi chaps,

I'm tring to move  some directories and their contents to a nas box that doesn't support permissions. All this is fine as I'm just archiving  some stuff. However I get an error about failed to preserve ownership for..... each time I move  a file or folder.

Is there a way I can move/copy some files without ubuntu trying to change the permissions?
