[OT] Netbook and Ubuntu

I find the best solution is to purchase one that has never had anything windoze 
ever run on it, ... or even run in the same room for that matter.  I don't 
feel I should have to purchase something for which I have absolutely no use or 
need just to get a workable machine.  If it has windoze, it is likely it also 
has cheap shortcut hardware on it.  It wastes too much of my time to have to 
remove the hardware from the computer and install the correct hardware.  Plus 
I have to try and clean the drive or buy a new one.  Just an all around losing 
proposition for me.
