Software update request to gnuCash

My accountant just upgraded to version 2.4.5, and the Ubuntu repository
has 2.2.9.  While the differences seem small (to me anyway), it would be
nice to go to the same level as my accountant.  Can someone look into
this to see if it is a big deal?
