There is that. But, when ever I get some gadget to use, it always has
some CD that comes with it, to install to Windows with. Plus, it is
warrantied to work, as in get your money back, if it doesn't. We're
pretty much on our own here. With all of the distro flavors of Linux, a
device manufacturer would go insane trying to support Linux, as an OS.
I'm grateful when one does make the attempt, like nVidia, Intel and HP.
So, I think we can agree that it might have been better if the reply was
made "You are inaccurate in your assessment of Windows VS Linux for
device support." But, I've flown off the handle on a bad hair day, too.
If I find myself wrong, or just behaving wrongly, I apologize. Well,
usually, once I get past my initial justifications. :) Ric
