[11.04_64Bit]-Can't install Hewlett Packard Software?

Hi,

On 10.10 I had no problem installing Hewlett Packard's software
for my Hewlett Packard HP Deskjet D1660 USB printer.

On 11.04 I can't seem to get this installed.
In terminal, I type "sudo hp-setup" and the printer is found
but the special HP software is not installed onto my system?

On 10.10, a little blue (HP) icon was shown in the panel.
I'm running Ubuntu Classic Desktop
with "Notification Area" applet in panel installed.

Any help would be appreciated.
