Can't get printing squared away! I've posted this problem a couple
times, nobody had solution. Hoping a fresh look might yield better
results. Googled a BUNCH, nothing. I mean NOTHING like my problem. I've
been booting into Windows for most of my printing, but it's time I
figure this out!

Printer is a HP D1660. Plugged in USB, printer found, auto-installed
drivers. In the PAST it was suggested I download some HP stuff for
Linux: that did not address this issue.

Problem: Print is "blurry". Almost looks like print is doubling, almost
like a purposeful effect. Font has a "shadow" almost like a bad attempt
to give the appearance of depth.

Work-around: if I set printer to grey-scale, print is totally clear.

Clean install (I never upgrade) of both 10.10 & now 11.04 both yielded
this issue for me. TIA!
