ssh x forwarding running application

How do I forward a already open gedit window from one machine to the other?

Machine A: my laptop at home ssh into office desktop with ssh -X -C MachineB
Machine B: open gedit window I want to forward to Machine A

In other words the question is:
Is their such a way to forward a running app to another computer with X
forwarding?
