I toasted a perfectly good 15" Multisync, back when they cost mega
bucks. Xvidtune took what I stupidly gave it and gleefully took out the
flyback. It just went ZEET! and a puff of smoke issued. God, I was sick.
Lesson learned: Linux will do what you tell it to do. :( Ric
