Grub not working

All,

Debugging this problem can be difficult without more facts, so I have
attached a few things that may help (or not).  First is the result of
the "sudo grub-mkconfig > ~/Desktop/grub.txt" command in the terminal
window.  Next, is the contents of the /etc/default/grub file.
