History:

The problem occured before I used sudo nautilus.

I booted into 10.11 a week ago or so, I could not connect to the
router. I tried disabling wireless then re-enabling. Then I tried
disabling networking and re-enabling, all from the network manager
that came with 10.11. Nothing worked. Eventually I created a new
user to see if the problem was with the user- this has happened to me
before I think. Well that worked, so there was something wrong with
the user. Next time I logged back in with the problem user I got the
.ICE and error 256 messages. i have not been able to get back in
since. I did an in-place install of 11.04. That got rid of the ICE
message but 256 still there and can not log in. I installed another
11.04 alongside so I can use the computer just fine, with a few
exceptions (FF has a problem with bookmarks).

Thanks
