Hi all,
I started using Ubuntu at 4.10 I think it was, memory not that good, but
I do remember
the flap that was caused by the removal of the "terminal" option in the
right mouse click menu
on the desktop. We managed to live with it, guess we will adjust to
Unity too.
All things will come to pass in the fullness of time, including plum
stones.:-)
Seems to be the human condition that we resist change.

I have to admit I have found this thread to be very amusing, but I will
never understand why
things that are free always attract complaint, when I know some of my
friends are still using
Vista (which they paid for ) and which is giving them numerous problems
accept this as the norm. No one I know would even think of complaining
to Microsoft, not that it would do any good :-)
Not much of an evangelist, haven't been able to convert them.
Take care
Winton
