I know all about alphas and betas.  Been there done that for years in 
a wide range of *nic environments.  However this is the first time I 
put an Ubuntu alpha in and was really annoyed by what happened.

Once I reinstalled gnome (the upgrade deinstalled it..marvelous) and 
shunted Unity off to one side where I don't have to use it 11.04 is 
quite nice.  FF4 beta is fast but I'm still going to roll back to 3.6 
out of personal preference.
