Ubuntu netbook edition or desktop edition ?

Thanks for all the replies. Reading through and doing a bit or research I
think what I'd do is --

1. Install regular Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop
2. Install LXDE/XFCE for a leaner WM (won't go the xubuntu way, since, it
appears to take away the Network Manager goody)
3. Customize UI to minimize screen real-estate wastage.
