is nokia mode is a "pc suite " option?

i have nokia 3110c.i need it to attach with ubuntu for my project .in
procedure it is said that ,attach your phone to pc and select "pc suite".but
when i attach it to my ubuntu-pc options pop up:
 nokia mode
 printing and other media
 data transfer
                              is nokia mode is a "pc suite " option?
